Santeria, which is commonly known as the La ReglaLucumÃÆ'(or LukumÃÆ'), is one of the strongest African diaspora, which is widely spread all over the world. It is scattered by the African slaves, who were brought to the new world.Considering its origin, Santeria is a syncretic religion of Caribbean origin, which developed in the Spanish Empire among West African slaves. Santeria refers to a system of believes, which are synchronized and influenced by the Roman Catholicism Empire. It is composed of a system of norms, which were brought to the New World, by slaves from the African tradition. The slaves carried with them various religious customs, including a trance and divination system for communicating with their ancestors and deities, animal sacrifice, and sacred drumming and dance. Upon its arrival in the Americas, this religious tradition evolved into what we now recognize as Santeria.Currently, Santeria is based on the aspect of development of the personal relationships, which is extended through various aspects such as divination, initiation, sacrifice, and medium ship.
